We have a Full Moon this week on May 7th and the celebration of Mother’s Day on Sunday May 10th. Regardless of what your relationship is or was with your mother: very close, non-existent, adversarial or a mystery you will never solve, honor that once a young girl carried you for 9 months within her body all the beautiful hopes for you to have a loving life. Honor her for that. This month’s Full Moon is called the Full Flower Moon, bringing with it an energy of fertility and plantings of new seeds of thought and action. Very apropos with Mother’s Day being only a few days after. This full moon is also at 20° in Scorpio, adding a sense of urgency to everything we address this week.
With the COVID-19 virus still being addressed, there is much confusion surrounding quarantines and dubious info on vaccines and virus preventions that change hourly. Everyone is wanting to get back to a semblance of the life they had before, knowing some things will never be the same as it was before the virus. All the cards pulled this week have a foretelling of coming out of melancholy, frustration and sad energy brought down on most of us who were so unprepared for this health concern to be so virulent. There will be a new opportunity to start seeing a light at the end of this health nightmare
Story continues below…
Tarot Card Draw #1: Three of Swords (Reversed)
The Three of Swords is always depicted as a sad scenario with a feeling you do not have enough swords to defend yourself in a situation and feeling surrounded by a loss of hope. Very apropos, since most of us are starting to feel the pressures of being house bound. Since pulled reversed, it is making known there is a great possibility that doors that you felt were going to be shut for a long period of time in getting back on your feet, will open in an unforeseen way until you feel you can get your life on track again.
Tarot Card Draw #2: The Page of Swords
The Page of Swords is youthful, optimistic and creative energy. He carries a sword of ambition, moving forward regardless of what he may have to overcome. Cutting away anything that stands in his way or he feels is no longer necessary to serve his purpose. The Page of Swords can represent your revitalized outlook going forward or someone in your day to day routine, bringing in vibrant and enthusiastic help and ideas. He either represents you bringing in an optimistic breath of fresh air to stagnant energy because of a shift of your own energy or someone of that nature to “rah, rah’ you on. You may also recognize and finally accept this week there is nothing you can do about what is out of your control. But you may also begin to realize if you stay focused on re-building foundations with a positive hopefulness, a renewing and restoring energy will take over.
Tarot Card Draw #3: The Ace of Cups
The Ace of Cups is a great card to pick for this week. It shows you caught a break somewhere or getting ready to get one. Possibility an unexpected solution to an issue you thought was hopeless, and then the miracle just shows up. Remembering that a miracle is just a shift in your perception of negative hopelessness to one of positive hopefulness. But you can be guaranteed, if that unexpected grace falls in your lap this week, it is because you made it so with your “never give up, never surrender” light vibes you put out to the universe and it mirrored it right back to you.
