Tarot Card Draw #1: Two of Swords, reversed

If the Two of Swords turns up reversed in your daily tarot draw, you may have been knowingly or unknowingly allowing yourself to be overwhelmed by anxiety, worry, fear or stress. This may result in mental and/or emotional issues which will most likely lead to you not being able to make any decision at all, let alone the right decision. In addition to not being able to make a decision, the reversed Two of Swords may show up indicating delays or things being postponed either by you or another party directly involved. This card coming up in the reversed position may also be trying to bring your attention to someone (either yourself or another person) who is acting in an overly cautious manner or who is detached from an important situation, quite guarded or has been intentionally distant or just plain cold and uncaring. It can also indicate someone who is either unable or refusing to let go of resentment or anxiety as well as struggling with information overload. The reversed Two of Swords may be representative of a liar or lies being outed or exposed. Lastly, It can also indicate that you or someone you have been involved with on some level or whom you have been trying to work with is finally able to realize and understand the truth of a matter or situation following a time of mental confusion or detachment.

Tarot Card Draw #2: The Hermit

Quite often when The Hermit turns up for you in a daily draw, it is indicating a time for you to step outside of any trying situation to simply take a beat and get your head and heart in order. This card suggests that some time alone, without any outside influence, will help you to get some things straight and to be more objective going forward following a break from life in general. We all need time alone at some point simply to regroup and recharge. The Hermit may indicate that you are entering a period of soul searching, self-reflection and spiritual enlightenment. At some point in adulthood, every one of us goes through at least one period of time when we need to just step outside of ourselves to find a greater understanding of who we truly are. It is possible you have been trying to gain an understanding of what your purpose is here on earth, your true calling and where you are headed in life. It may be a time to fully reassess your values and get your moral compass set back to true north. If you have been dealing with an overly stressful time or extremely difficult life situation, The Hermit may come up for you suggesting you just take some time to yourself to get back on track. Maybe you find yourself at a place in life where you simply want to withdraw from people and society in general for a bit. While there is nothing wrong with this as we all need a break from time to time, you must also know your limits and when the benefits of time alone begin to turn negative. When representing a person, The Hermit speaks of someone who is mature, wise, possessing of great knowledge. It also talks of a person either needing or seeking out the assistance of a counselor, therapist or some other mental health professional. The Hermit may come up to give you permission to focus on yourself and meeting your own needs for a while. And finally, this card may turn up in a daily draw as a warning that you are allowing yourself to be a bit too withdrawn from family, friends, society as a whole and all of this can lead to a very serious battle with depression if left unchecked.

Tarot Card Draw #3: Ace of Pentacles, reversed

The Ace of Pentacles coming up reversed for you in a tarot reading can be quite negative and possibly a bit overwhelming as it signifies insecurity, scarcity and depleted resources. Due to these potentially overwhelming conditions, you may find yourself acting in rather uncharacteristic ways, taking chances and pushing the limits. This includes testing the boundaries of the law to get your needs met. You may be acting out of greed or in a miserly fashion choosing to not share or be open to assisting others in any way, despite how bad off they may be … much worse than yourself. It is possible you may be acting this way out of fear that you will not be able to replace or recoup anything you may choose to share. Maybe your attitude is such that no one ever helped you, why should you help someone else. Perhaps you are lacking resources due to poor planning or effort on your own part. Poor budgeting could also be indicated by the Ace of Pentacles, reversed, which means you have more going out than coming in. This card could also represent missed opportunities or lack of opportunities. Also indicated are opportunities, prospects or deals falling through. The reversed Ace of Pentacles speaks of delays, lack of planning and poor control so insure you are putting the work and planning into achieving your goals when it appears.
