Tarot Card Draw #1: The Lovers
Many of the more basic meanings behind The Lovers card are quite obvious such as attraction, love and forming the perfect union. While the union typically refers to love and romance, it can occasionally indicate forming a solid business partnership. Among some of the more significant non-love related indicators of The Lovers card are finding balance and harmony in your life, learning to better understand yourself and what you most value in life. It can come up to help you find more balance in your life and getting your priorities in order. This card may also turn up when you find yourself facing a major decision or trying dilemma, have too many choices or are plagued by uncertainty. This card encourages you to take the more challenging path or the road less traveled as it will ultimately bring you the greatest reward. You are encouraged to not take the easy way out of any difficult situation. Challenge yourself and you may find yourself being quite pleasantly surprised. And finally, if you have been dealing with any negative or toxic people, it is time to put as much distance as possible between yourself and that person for your own betterment. It is ok to occasionally put yourself and your own well-being first.
Tarot Card Draw #2: Eight of Pentacles, reversed
When the reversed Eight of Pentacles turns up for you in a brief reading or daily draw, it quite often indicates that you are very distracted and possibly neglecting something or (more importantly) someone rather significant. It also speaks of skewed priorities and avoidance. It is now time to take a couple of steps back, look around and thoroughly and objectively reassess your priorities and some of the actions you have been taking. Serious changes are called for, or at least a reorganization of your priorities and goals. This card also warns of waste and unnecessary repetition as well as a boring or overly repetitive job that needs to be changed or at least shaken up a bit. Boredom leads to frustration which leads to mistakes, and in some instances misplaced anger or resentment. The reversed card will serve as confirmation that it’s time to take action and bring about some positive, more challenging changes in your life as well as to quite simply get your priorities in order. You may unknowingly be acting in a careless or selfish manner. In your work, it is highly probable that you are not living up to your skills and have been producing less-than-desirable results. Another thing often signaled through this card is a bad or overly negative reputation. This is especially concerning when it comes to professional matters as it will undoubtedly affect your livelihood.
Tarot Card Draw #3: Judgement
The first thing most seekers think of when Judgement appears for them is trouble with the law. It is difficult to not think this when the card depicts three small and broken figures pleading with a clear authority figure looming large above them. While this card does occasionally indicate legal matters, if you look a bit more closely, it appears that the small figures may be rising up out of coffins as they are wrapped in mummy garb. More often, this card indicates you, as a person, being judged by others as well as your own Karmic judgement or reward. We each reap what we sow. If you have been struggling with some more negative circumstances than usual and this card comes up for you in a daily draw, it urges you to take a couple of steps back and reassess how you have been choosing to live your life. Could all the negativity be Karma being visited upon you? Alternatively, this card speaks of how others view us and may be judging us or how we choose to live our lives as well as you possibly holding yourself to an impossibly high standard. More importantly, how are you viewing others, and have you possibly been judging others too harshly? When it does come up signifying a legal matter, you are being told that if you have acted honorably and on the side of right, then the judgment heaped upon you will be in your favor. However, if you have made some questionable decisions or flat out acted inappropriately, you will pay the price.
