Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. Is the divorce off?
Hollywood stars Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have been together for many years and are parents to three children. They separated last year with many rumour’s being cited as contributory factors, however, fortunately they did not make it to the divorce courts and proceedings were placed on. Ben went on to move back into the marital home and they have been successfully co-parenting.
So are they back to being an official couple? Apparently so, according to reports. Could Jennifer’s change of heart be due to Ben agreeing to adopt a child. Jen has expressed an interest in adopting since before their four year old was born and this is a passion that have never really left her. Current rumour’s say that they are back together again and adoption plans are underway.
Irrespective of their status as a Hollywood power couple, marriage will always take work and commitment from both parties. They had their reasons for the separation and if another child helps reaffirm their commitment to each other then good for them. They’ve proved that they are great parents and any new addition will have sisters Violet and Seraphina to look up to and brother Samuel. What do the cards say for Ben and Jen today?
Véronique’s Verdict
We have The Four of Swords, the Lovers and the Ten of Hearts.
The Four of Swords reveals that the couple has done much soul searching. There is a sense of remorse and awaiting judgement. Ben? Any confusion or pressure is no longer there and I feel that the couple are ready to release the hurt from the past.
The lovers tells us that there are two sides of every story. In every relationship, each person has a part to play, if one seems to ‘mess up’ I guarantee that the other person, Jen? was instrumental in some capacity. It is easy to hold one person responsible for the breakdown of a marriage but they had an equal part to play.
The ten of wands is shows harmony restored. It is early days and I feel that they are both doing their best with this new energy. There is a desire to remain as a family and a newfound respect for each other within the marriage. Well done to both!
