Bring Love Into Your Life With Chinese Feng Shui
Love, like everything else in life is energy flowing to and from. Our definitions of what love is, usually gets you exactly that, a mirror image of what you think you deserve and what being loved feels like.
It is always the hardest part of counseling someone who so desperately wants a love partner in their life to make the point that if you are unhappy with yourself, anyone you draw into your life expecting them to make you happy, will eventually become unhappy with you too.
There are lots of things one can do to draw the kind of love they are hoping to be happy with such as affirmations tracks that change how you subconsciously think about love, reading self-help books, counseling, spiritual healing and sometimes just tough love from those that see so clearly your broken choices always brings a broken heart.
But if you are a believer and want to start somewhere to draw that love into your life, the ancient practice of energetic Feng Shui placement is a small step in the right direction. Does it work? Yes, I believe it does as I witnessed a family member devoutly following all the love Feng Shui changes in her home and she met someone special within a month.
Whether it was meant to be or she helped it along, I was impressed enough to feel it was worth writing about it.
The power of energetic placement
First things first, most everyone has somewhat heard of Feng Shui but rarely understands the actual power of energetic placement to change the flow of good things in your direction. Feng Shui is not a meditation practice, a religion, or a New Age cult.
The practice of Feng Shui was developed in China over a 4,000-year period and was started with the intentions of a perfect architectural placement for their tombs. From there it moved to bringing peace and harmony in the home.
Sometimes just by changing your bed around to facing another direction will open the heart flow and draw in the like a magnet someone to share that bed with you. Even the British Royal family is rumored to use Feng Shui principles.
Making your space feel good
What Feng Shui (or Wind and Water) is that is most paramount, is the practice of arranging your environment so that energy or “chi” flows gently and smoothly through your home and that is where you want love to blossom.
By making your space just feel good, it supports what you want out of life-whether it’s a better career, new romance, improved health, or more income.
Feng Shui is based on the concept that everything in your environment has a life force called “chi.” Just as chi flows through your body, chi also flows your through living environment. When the energy flow is stagnant or is obstructed, then what you are hoping to draw to you will be blocked.
Next week in Part 2 I will list some suggested changes from the experts to make in your home (particularly your bedroom) to help open the flow of love energy and bring romance into your life.
